    All ages and abilities welcome
    October 26 &27th, 2019

Online registration – see info below and attachment.

The Lethbridge Speed Skating Association is pleased to once again be hosting our annual Bridge Bolt short track speed skating meet, and we invite skaters of all ages to come race with us!  Our event will occur on October 26th and October 27th, 2019 on some of the quickest ice in Alberta, and is SSC and AASSA sanctioned.  SSC Rules apply, including Safety Equipment, SSC Rules D3-100 (Short Track).

This meet will be a great season opener for many of Western Canada’s younger skaters, and is a great chance for T2T skaters to tune up prior to the first Alberta Canada West qualifier in November.

CSSA has kindly agreed to host online registration for our meet again this year.  You can access the online registration at the following link: https://www.calgaryspeedskating.ca/perform/meets/.

Please ensure that you also complete the online Waiver when completing the registration.

Please refer to LSSA’s 2019-2020 Bridge Bolt Short Track Meet Announcement for further details regarding the divisions available, medical policy, registration info and special hotel options and pricing.

If you would like to volunteer (including as an official, many posts do not require experience), please click on the following link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C084BA9AB2CA4F94-lssas4

As a small club we welcome and appreciate any volunteer support.

For anyone craving some of our custom Triple B Cupper’s coffee blend, you can place an advance order to be picked up at the Bolt by emailing us at lssa.sk8r@gmail.com. One pound bags of coffee are $20, and you can choose between regular grind, french press, Keurig grind or whole bean. Orders must be submitted by October 18th, 2019.

We hope to see many of you out to kick off the 2019-2020 competitive season in Southern Alberta!
